Count to 100 with three secrets
Learn 1 to 10, and every number up to 100 is built from them, like blocks.
Secret 1 · The foundation
1 to 10 are your building blocks
Once you know 1 to 10, everything else is just combining building blocks!
Tap a block to see it up close.
Secret 2 · 11 to 19, the “-Ashaar” rule
Say the single digit first, then add عَشَر
ثَلَاثَةَ عَشَر
13 ١٣ Thirteen
11 and 12 change their first word a little: أَحَدَ عَشَر and إِثْنَا عَشَر.
Secret 3 · 21 to 99, the “right to left” rule
Read the units first, then “and” (وَ), then the tens
خَمْسَة وَعِشْرُونَ
Khamsah wa-'Ishroon
“Five and twenty” is 25
